Magnetic release
An electromagnet with plunger ensures instantanueous
tripping in case of short circuit. The IEC60898
distringuishes three different types: B, C, D
And the IEC60947standard leaves the calibration of
magnetic release to manufactures decision.
Thermal release
The release is initated by a bimetal strip in case of
overload, the standard defines the range of release
for specific overload value
Referece ambient temperature is 30ºC

Temperature derating
Outline and installation dimensions
The maximum permissible current in a circuit breaker on the ambient temperature where the circuit breaker is placed.
Ambient temperature is the temperature inside the enclosure or enclosure or switchboard in which the circuit breakers
are installed

Remark:
When several simultaneously operating circuit breakers are mounted side by side in a small enclosure, the temperature
rise inside the enclose causes a reduction in current rating.
The user must assign the ratinga downrating factor of 0.8 (already derated if necessary according to ambient
temperaturer)
The reference temperature is 30 C
